can you believe that the first year of college is over? (well, i still can't get over that fact)

today, i came back from the commons after looking for star necklace/bracelets for yee. i found lots of star stuff in that pacific sun wear (i think that's what it is called, not sure though). anyways. I met mrs. petersen in the commons too, and talked to miyako and her mom in brook's brother for a little bit. alright, so i got back home (yes, i DRIVE!) and saw this huge long limo in the front. I thought to myself, "wow, it is the prom season again! i remember the same day last year when i went to my prom."

yes yes...i went to the prom...with mike cui (n.b. his last name does NOT sound like what it seems). i wonder how he is doing in uc davis. well, it turned out to be fun although i had lots of doubts in my mind when i went with him. thank to him that i had a good time there. i felt like a lady..ha...first time a guy opens car door for me. anyways. i hope the seniors this year are going to have a blast at the sheriton hotel in mahwah, new jersey...(yes, my school is in new york, but the senior prom is in new jersey.)

last night, i had such a weird dream...not that my dreams ever make any sense. (they are usually really strange...) i dreamed that the cartoon character "doraemon" becoming evil inside yee's room in taichung, and a red evil aura was coming out from the room because of him. bah... and doraemon was throwing stuff out from the room and kicking things! can you believe that? then, yee and i went and played video games for a while... in another part of my dream, i was in dad's hospital wearing the doctor's white robe that had my name embroidered there. that was cool. and i saw some of dad's nurses and doctors there too. and of course, dad was having a meeting with the doctors. that was an interesting dream. ha.

i took the car to inspection today, and stayed at aunt's house for a while. we watched the video taped "the amazing race" with her and uncle. aunt and i also discussed a chinese novel that she really likes and recommands to me. i might read it just because it sounds really funny. supposedly, it is about reincarnation of a fox who got killed by a hunter and how the fox became a woman and married and abused her husband (the former hunter). anyways...we'll see if i can finish my summer list first. it was actually fun spending time with them although we didn't really do too much, since uncle's a little paranoid about his health (which we can't really blame since he had a really bad heart attack that left him with a big chunk of his heart muscle dead).

also went to my orthodontist to take x-ray of my wisdom teeth to be. i am hoping that i don't need major "surgery" for them. sigh... i wish i don't need surgery... i don't like dentists...because i am really scared of them... (bad bad bad memory as a child)
