had a little time to talk with yee today on the car in the parking lot while waiting for mom to get off from work. lol, i never knew that there are guys like him who remembers the subtle things that normally only girls would remember...(not to be discriminative) he's been trying to call zhuoyin for the past few days and her phone was always busy... well, can't blame her, because she always helps her little brother to go online and watch Winnie the Pooh. =) anyways...so, yee was telling me in this really "dreamy" voice (haha, it made me laugh...because he was acting like a little girl would) that yesterday marked the end of 1 month of his friendship with zhuoyin. He remembers it, the exact date. that amazes me... so i thought to myself, "wow, guys do notice these things too if they want to." hmm... interesting. perhaps there aren't too much of difference between boys and girls, unless my little brother is the weird one (but i don't think he is).
yee's thinking about getting a car! hurray! that means that I'll be able to drive his car to some places from time to time instead of staying at home all the time when mom has the car. but to really think about it, where will i be driving to, alone by myself? i don't really have any place that i wanna go alone by myself. how boring would it be to go to the mall alone? or to go to the park alone? i should call up cristina and see what she's up to... i hope she's around. but what will we be doing? lol... maybe she can help me to braid my hair into locks while we listen to the beatles. i should call her tomorrow... i should call miyako and roohi too...see what they are up to. i am such a bad friend... :-/...
what else? work is still enjoyable, so far... i am learning pretty quick, with the register. hehe... i like that register, even though it is kinda slow. they always laugh at me (not to be mean, but they thought i was funny) to greet people with "hello" and "how are you" when people come in the store while they don't even bother to look at your or say anything back to you. well, i dunno... it is just polite to do it, right? besides, it always makes me feel that the people who work in the store are friendly when they greet me. a two-way thing... maybe they don't want to say anything, but they do appreciate the greetings.
i've been having strange dreams lately. and they all happened in michigan. (what can i tell ya.) last night in my dream, i was on a cata bus that took me all over the place and i didn't even know where i was. adventurous adventures, i tell ya. we drove by schools, fields, basically just fields of grass.... then we finally arrived the msu cata station, and i had to mop the bathroom floor there. sigh, and i dropped my t-shirt in the toilet somehow while i was changing, and i was trying to flush my t-shirt, but it wouldn't go down. what a strange event! yes, and I was running all over the campus trying to go to different events, and people were picking me up and dropping me off. I even saw my friends from elementary school in msu! then the day before, i was taking an exam... and the day before, we were waiting outside the wharton center for a show... what's going on?!?! (and I also wonder what language my dreams were in...)
blah... this was in the fortune cookie, "don't leave your heart empty. :)" (it even had a smily face!) i thought that was interesting... what does it even mean? those little paper things in the fortune cookies are really abstract. have you ever wondered who came up with that idea? I have never had fortune cookies when i was in taiwan, and it was a novelty for me when i came here. lol.
