"Dreams"

Hold fast to dreams/ For if dreams die/ Life is a broken-winged bird/ That cannot fly.// Hold fast to dreams/ For when dreams go/ Life is a barren field/ Frozen with snow. Langston Hughes

45-45-90 triangle, georgia-michigan-new york... heh

yesterday, i had a picture with a stuffed "rhinohorn" in toyrus in the city...haha yes, i'll definitely send ms d the picture. (inside joke that i'll never forget).

if you ever have the chance to wath "42nd street," that's a must see broadway show. and if you can get a front seat, definitely do. those people look like plastic dolls in the beginning. quite amazing. it is fun to develop eye contact with the actors and actresses on the stage. it is also fun to see how much the conductor enjoyed the music that he would wink at his musicians. a very good experience at the musical yesterday with mom and yee. btw, it was such a coincident to see joel and jen together on the train and later at "42nd" street box office and the show. we went to toyrus together, then they went to columbia where joel studies. it was nice to see some familiar faces in the most unlikely places, such as the city.

i like indian food. yee really likes it too... i definitely have to eat indian food with ranjini and prya when i get back to school.

oh yes... our car was dead last night when we got back to the train station. lol. i never knew that "recharging" the battery is called "jumping the car." something new to learn every day. i am so glad that alex was there to help us out. lol. he's such a nice kid.

another week till san francisco where i'll see dad and my best friend that i knew since 1st grade (she changed her flight)... isn't that great? i love these little surprises in life because they make life so fresh and so bright and so sunny. i feel so happy right now, like nothing is ever going to make today go bad. maybe it is also because right now yee's playing guitar right by my ears... he's getting really good. emo songs...heh. i am starting to like them a lot now.

me going to restart my lovely comoputer and start scanning away. =)
