Sunday:
1. the main destination of the day was Twin Peaks in SF... on the way there, we passed the gay people's hangout place. lots of rainbow flags and murals. lots of CUTE guys. :-p. hehe. i don't know what you think about it, but i think many of them dress much much nicer and they just look overall nice and clean. it was a bit cloudy. we couldn't really see the golden bridge from the top of the peaks due to the heavy clouds.
Monday (midnight)-Tuesday
1. then we flew to HK. i have to say that the trip on the plane was QUITE interesting. yeah... it was a bit sensational and amazing... something i've never experienced before. I found out quite a bit about my inner self. so my dad was right about me. don't be fooled by my seemingly shy bookcover... so i am not really shy afterall. i KNEW it. :-p. anyhow... the flight was long though, and the flight attendants kept waking us up to give us food despite the fact that i really wanted to sleep. oh well. what can you do.
2. Tuesday...we got to my mom's friend's place and just stayed in and slept. :-p.
Wednesday the 18th
1. charlie and i took the train (i like to call it "subway") and ferry (i liked to look at the waves and ripples that the ferry made...it made me dizzy, hehe) to HK island. for those who loves shopping and eating, you should come to HK... so, we just walked around from 10am to 10pm in the HK area... bored. i am not a big shopper kind of person if you know me. the highlight of the day was probably on the mountaintop looking down at the HK night view in the light rain. it was romantic in a sense... only if the sky was clearer, then maybe i would be able to see stars. it's all good. the clouds made it really misty up there, which was quite cool. :).
Thursday the 19th
1. well, we had dim sum for brunch. wow...charlie can definitely eat. i call him the Mr. 4-month-pregnant guy. hehe. but the food was definitely good though. you won't be able to have much of it in the US unless you go to the chinatown in NYC.
2. i am in a coffee shop drinking iced latte and using this free internet typing up my blog to keep you updated. hopefully i am keeping you entertained... let me know. drop me an e-mail if you want. i will be going to taiwan tonight. my mom's friend's wife cooks REALLY good food, so i can't wait for her wantons @ 4pm this afternoon. i can't wait to see my dad and throw him a humongous hug.... i can't wait to see my friends from elementary school. :). it's been a couple years or more since i last saw them. i am excited about the next 10 days or so in Taiwan. Hopefully i will be able to make the most out of it before i head back to SF again and apply for med schools. finger crossed for me. i hope that i will end up somewhere in Cali for NY since yee's in Cali and my aunt's in NY, but anywhere is fine as long as i can get into one. hm. i think this is about it. pei's going to head out the coffee shop and maybe go ICE SKATING in HK! hehe. fun.
ta ta for now.
