i find June to be a month when a lot of people get sick or injured (personal opinion)... well, monica's dad's shingles and heartattack. marsha's husband's broken hips at the train station and the surgery, but now he's really grumpy and verbally abusive to marsha's self esteem... grandma's chest pain which made her unable to sit up... yee's flu... mom's shoulder pain... my bruises (well, that's my own doing)... i just hope that everyone will be ok.
the air is muggy. i thought we are going to have a thunderstorm, but we only have light drizzle as of right now. work was slow today for some reason that I cannot tell. Dana came to the store with her dad. =) that was a good surprise. other than that, joyce, kimi, and i just listened to marsha talking about how her husband humiliated her in front of his coworkers while they are in the hospital. i made her an origami crane to wish her husband gets better and treats her nicely. joyce and i just chatted about women, babies, and taiwan. lol. kimi took my brownies home for dessert. =) i hope she'll like them.
i had such a scary dream last night... i lost my mom on the train in a country in europe... we were on different trains, and when the two trains passed by each other, i was trying to "jump" to her train. I lost her... I tried to search her all over Europe and i felt so guilty that I lost her. when i woke up, i found myself hugging my coca cola body pillow really tightly. i called her as soon as i woke up just to make sure that she's still here and that what i had just experienced was only a dream. (of course, our conversation is in chinese...)
me: MA MA?
mom: oh you are up?
me: yeah (phew, it was only a dream...)
mom: what?
me: nothing
mom: i am going to work now. lunch is in the frige in the bag. there are other things in the frige to eat too. bring an umbrella with you to work. drive carefully. if it rains too hard at night, just stay at the parking lot till it calms down. give me a call, too.
me: ok. bye bye...you drive carefully too.
me going to transfer pictures from the camera now, bai bai
