randomness:

1. happy birthday to jared yesterday. it seems like he had great fun. =). i wish i could be there to give him the surprise too.

2. i still miss people there... yesterday in my dream, i was going to the airport and flying back to lansing. (then, i was waken up at 7am to go to 7 lakes and grocery shopping with mom.) i wonder if I'll finish the unfinished dream last night. do you ever dream the same dream twice? or have you ever had "deja vu" in your dream that you feel like you dreamed the same story before?

3. i am going to call mom's friend and ask her where the christians of my age meet on friday nights. if they are not too far away in new jersey, then i will go there during the summer. it would be something meaningful to do over the summer. maybe it will take away the feelings of emptiness, imprisonment, and shallowness.

4. i had an impulse of touching the foamy stuff on the stems of the wild flowers when i was taking a walk. i wonder what it is. could it be the eggs of some animals? or insects? i wonder what's inside the white foam....

5. i got a pair of rollerblades! yay for that. from now on, i am going to practice hard on how to rollerblade. good exercise for the body, too. it will be fun. and once i learned how, it would be easier to learn how to ice skate. =) woooooo.... ice skate! that's like my dream sport, the most beautiful sport....

6. from jenni's away message...i think there is a CCF meeting in the IV house today. :-/ i wish i could be there. i am missing out a whole bunch of goodies...

7. yee and i had a little concert together this afternoon. while he was playing the guitar, i was trying to accompany him with the piano part. it was fun. now i wonder if i could find a music book of piano and guitar together. that would be something cool to do.

8. have been making some chinese knotting pattern over here. definitely a test for patience (another test for patience: chopping vegetables for the inside of the dumpling). i am hoping that i'll be able to finish it by the end of july, which shouldn't be a problem. =) a surprise...

9. ms. d and emily went to walk the dog from the small animal clinic in msu today! that sounds fun. =)

10. the most exciting thing this morning...(at the time when mom woke me up)... i wanted to hug someone SO badly (a squeezing hug) when i heard the possible good news. it was such an exciting news! dad is going to see if i could be a chinese interpreter for him and the other hospital administrator who is going with him to the health summit in san francisco in august! wouldn't that be an extraordinary experience? people from all over the US and the world will be there for the summit and learn about hospital administration and other things concerning the health system. wow... i can't believe this. i will be able to take notes for them and help them to understand what's going on during the conferences so that they'll be able to write their reports when they go back to taiwan. woooooooo.... and i'll be able to learn a little about this and public health, etc. woooooooooo...

11. interview at the elementary school went well...i basically got the job without an actual interview, but i think i am going to call and say that i don't think i'll be able to work 5 days a week to paint walls for 40 hours. i think i still prefer to smell good than to smell like paint 5 days a week...although i don't have to work on the weekends. there is really not too much of a difference between regular weekdays and weekends for me or mom or yee in the summer. everyday is the same during off-school season. sigh. hmm... well, i have to let him know on Monday.

12. mom drove by 7 lakes just to fulfill my wish of seeing the lakes. lol, the couple geese hissed at us when we drove by them...they were in the middle of the road. sigh. Then, i saw a DEER (not that it is rare) off the road chewing grass when i drove back home from ridgewood, new jersey (grocery shopping) taking the shortcut. Her eyes are so big and so black... you can definitely see the innocence in her eyes. they were beautiful. ALSO, i saw this gray squirrel in the middle of the road right before I was going to make a right turn into the development where we live. Of course, i SLOWED down and wait for it to run back to where it came from. mom was like, "my god, do you have to stop for every little animal to pass?" "yes, mom, besides, i am driving slow enough to hit the brake without breaking the car AND there is no car behind me." another little thing concerning animals...i killed a giant ant tonight by wrapping it in a piece of tissue and flushing it down to the toilet. i felt really guilty. i could have just take it outside and let it go like i usually normally do, but mom wanted me to flush it down the toilet.... not that i am blaming her...the ball of tissue was in my hand. sigh... poor ant. he didn't do anything wrong...he was just lost in the house. i bet he was really scared to stumble in here and walk on the uneven carpet and then find himself in a piece of white blanket falling down into a pool of water and being flooded into the abyss of darkness. (a long run-on sentence with unparallized verbs, please forgive my grammar.) i think he sensed danger was near when i kneeled down with the tissue paper trying to lure him onto the tissue paper, because he started to run with his 6 little giant legs instead of walk leisurely. poor thing...sigh.

goodnight...
