"Dreams"

Hold fast to dreams/ For if dreams die/ Life is a broken-winged bird/ That cannot fly.// Hold fast to dreams/ For when dreams go/ Life is a barren field/ Frozen with snow. Langston Hughes

bah, my watch is 12 hours ahead of time (the date part)... oh well. i'll fix it when i feel like doing that.

yesterday, i drove (yay!) with mom by my side to the upper delaware river in pennsylvania. part of rt 84 is absolutely beautiful because it is up up on the mountain. lol. the evelation is 1254 ft going toward pennsylvania and the evelation going towards new york is even higher! it was quite amazing looking down from the high way. we took a couple of pictures though the sky was kinda hazy. we passed through this town called Milford, which is a really old town, founded in 1733. a very old cozy place. much better than the look of Monroe. we were trying to find these waterfalls in this place, but one of them was closed, and the other one required some walking. mom didn't feel safe to walk into the woods, especially we are both girls and we don't have the proper attire. sigh. so we drove more, and i found this boat launch place by the bank of the delaware river. it looks kinda fun. too bad that launching a boat would be quite impossible in the presence of my mom... i also found these recycling bathrooms by the river. lol. that was quite an experience. on the door of the bathroom stall, it tells you to close the lid after use. and on the opposite side of the door where the toilet seat sits, there is a sign above it telling about the recycling toilet. heh, i took a picture of the sign. i looked down the toilet and saw this black deep hole... yeah, there was no water underneath, at least i cannot see it. it was pitch black down there...with breeze coming up. the breeze didn't smell at all. that was quite interesting. yep...so that was the 3.5 hours of "field trip" with my mom... we headed back after observing the bathrooms... haha

had my dentist checkup last night, no cavity! yay! =) the secretary told me not to be afraid of getting my wisdom teeth pulled... that was soothing, i thought.

oh yeah, bought my debussy music book and harry potter 5 from the bookstore yesterday. =) yee tried his first latte. lol. he looked so funny after the first taste of it. oh yes, and we bought a cd of romantic opera songs. lol. yee thought that they sounded just like "rap" because they also have a certain rythm. basically, i listened and laughed most of the time due to yee's unusual comments on the opera songs. and we went shopping for snack food because yee suddenly have these craving for spicy french fries and corn dogs. he was really "hyper" last night, maybe due to the coffee? i think it had some alcoholic effects on yee... hehe.

tis all for now. me gonna get ready for work.
