my co-worker christine has been training me to talk on the phone... yes... well, at least now, i am good at answering the phone when people call the store. i do not like talking on the phone. in fact, i do not like talking at all...well, ok, maybe only the things i am interested in. (but what exactly am i interested in? nothing, really.) to me, i don't like to ask too much about other people's lives unless they want to tell me. i have this fear that i am digging into other people's lives too much if i ask too many questions. privacy issues... but as for me, i'd like others to ask me questions (except SOME questions), otherwise, i don't really want to say anything. so christine's been teaching me to talk more on the phone by asking questions... so does mom. i'll try...but i don't really like talking. i am such a bore. what's the good of me if i don't convey my ideas to others? or do i have ideas at all? ha. that's a good question... sometimes i just bumble on and on without end in this blog. i wonder if people get annoyed by my wordiness and by the same subjects that i talk all the time. hmm...
what happened in the store today....? there was these korean guys coming in in suits and korean name tags looking for stuff. one of them reminded me of a friend of mine in taiwan. lol. my friend and this guy look somewhat alike, maybe the shape of the face. the way they ask questions is the same... and the way they laugh and the way they look at me... that was really weird. i was trying to explain what "ginger" is to him and his friends, because they smelled this bottle of ginger essence from origin. I would think that they'd be able to recognize the smell of ginger, but apparently i was wrong. I suppose they just gave up on the idea of me being able to explain what ginger is. too bad that I can't remember how to write "ginger" in Chinese, or else, they might be able to recognize the character, since I know some of the people do know how to read some Chinese... other than that, the store was quiet. i ran a little bit in the store, trying to catch up with the customers walking out without taking the things that they bought. ha. people are getting so forgetful nowadays. of course, there were mean people...
big question for the day popped up in a conversation with christine... (please do not take offense) how are gays and lesbians viewed under the eyes of religious people and under the eyes of God? does anybody know?
