How exciting! Someone left me a comment! =) you know, in fact, i do wear knee pads... because mom's is so scared that i might break my bones and such. but who are you, blueknife? reveal to me, please?
today...i worked. as usual.
the happiest moment happened when a lady asked if i have "berry freeze" lipstick in Clinique, and i looked through the "B" section in the Clinique lipstick trays and began to become hopeless thinking that there is no more "berry freeze". Miracles do happen! "uhooo" is what i said when i saw a glimpse of the "berry freeze" and blinked hard to make sure my eyes are focused on the two words. Yes! It is "BERRY FREEZE!" YAY!!! I got so excited that the lady became really really happy, too! =) I felt the golden rain of victory falling on me... hehe. that was really exciting.
i also saw some REALLY interesting things (of course, christine and kristin were there too)... yeah. Girls, PLEASE do not wear stringed underwear and low-waist jeans together unless you are absolutely SURE that you will not stoop down to look at some make-up cases. Please please please remember that. people at the register see everything by accident. it is very embarrassing... Remember that... ALSO, um...well, i know that belly-button ring look cool when you are young, but when you get old and "saggy" (which is a ms. D word) the ring would not look so great. plus... sigh... don't wear just half-a-shirt (whatever that kind of shirt is called that cuts above the belly button) when you are in your 40s or even 50s, especially if you know that you have scoliosis. the fold can be pretty obvious when you are a little bit saggy even if your physical appearance is great compared with the rest of the 40s and 50s population. ok, i know i might be too conservative and all... but i am sure that you can present your kind of beauty in a much more different way, don't you think so? Just something to ponder about. (that's a professor bass phrase.)
sigh... not to be critical...but just some things to remind myself not to do.
p.s. i got a hat for the summer! =) it is white paper braided hat with little colorful flowers embroidered around the actual hat, not the rim. anyways... i'll take a picture of the hat some day.
p.s.s. and yes, i got my new swimming suit. not the two-pieced kind (even though yee had tried to convince me to get them) just because i feel really naked and uncomfortable in those things... not that i feel comfortable in a regular bathing suit anyway... the back is low and the front is pretty low too... the only difference between it and the tw-pieced is that it has a little more fabric in the front (the belly part). i'd rather wear the diver's gear to swim if possible, at least i'll be covered from head to toe.
