"Dreams"

Hold fast to dreams/ For if dreams die/ Life is a broken-winged bird/ That cannot fly.// Hold fast to dreams/ For when dreams go/ Life is a barren field/ Frozen with snow. Langston Hughes

"Your secret dreams that grow over the years like apple seeds sown in your belly, grow up through you in leafy wonder and finally sprout through your skin, gentle and soft and wondrous, and they have a life of their own..."

"you've done this?"

"A time or two."

interesting, si?

i used to think that whenever i swallow a watermellon seed, a watermellow will grow in my stomach... such a childish innocent thought. ha. i miss it... sometimes i wish that i will never grow up... when you grow up, you stop being a real kid. you can just pretend to be a kid, but you can't really be a kid anymore. there are social constraints against that. otherwise, you'll just be seen as a crazy psycho... i wish i can go back in time sometimes...go back to when i was 5 years old or when i was 11/12. the world is very different in a child's eyes than it is in a grown-up's eyes...

i need to get over this barrier...

i love the music from "spirited away"... it is really relaxing....

middle school and high school experience is a blur to me... a long blur...that i spent with myself most of the time...

back to reading psychology
