"Dreams"

Hold fast to dreams/ For if dreams die/ Life is a broken-winged bird/ That cannot fly.// Hold fast to dreams/ For when dreams go/ Life is a barren field/ Frozen with snow. Langston Hughes

i am mentally exhausted from the orgo exam...

so many things are going on in CSC...i wish i can do something to help and make the group tighter. I think i finally realized how dad can be so frustrated with his workers sometimes...especially that he has a TON of people to take care of than I do. There are some ups and downs currently going on within my seed group... :-/. I am not saying that they are not doing their jobs, because they are working really hard...which makes me appreciate them just so much more. mm...well... I'll figure something out with Matt...glad that there is another co-president...or else i would really go nuts.

don't really know what's going on with my emotional side currently... i need to take some time off and really figure somethings out. i think i am a bit confused. it is good to take some times off and think this through... i feel like i am currently living without any kind of affects...emotions...feelings... life feels "flat". I need to find some exciting stuff to do, to stimulate my mind...

also...i am growing a bit too dependent on some people... it is not too great to be too dependent on others... even though you can't be totally independent of everyone around you. it's the separation anxiety that i am afraid of. i'll be so bored out of my mind when these people go on with their lives... they'll be so far away! the thought of it makes me sad. no wonder some people get so homesick...hehe.

And death shall be no more, comma, Death thou shalt die. Nothing but a breath-- a comma--separates life from life everlasting. It is very simple really. With the original punctuation restored, death is no longer something to act out on a stage, with exclamation points. It's a comma, a pause. This way, the uncompromising way, one learns something from this peom, wouldn't you say? Life, death. Soul, God. Past, present. Not insuperable barriers, not semicolons, just a comma. ------------------E.M. Ashford (character from W;t by Margaret Edson. Poem by John Donne)

great play...great script...great movie... is death that simple? it makes sense... death is the end of a life and the beginning to another... just like birth... you come in from one door, and you go out from the other. i feel like analyze this entire play for some reason... there are so much to learn from this...

anthropology has moved on to the insurance section where we explore the current insurance system and how it relates to people and the hospital system. another sad part of the reality to be learned...a new way of looking at the society/government... isn't it sad that sometimes someone has to get so sick, to the brink of death, to be covered by Medicaid, because it is not "medically necessary" when the person is not as sick as he/she should be... it is such a waste of resources and money if they could somehow change the policies and focus more on the prevention side of the health care system. Why do you have to wait for someone to get cancer and then pay for their treatment and not provide them with annual physical examinations to watch and prevent something serious from happening?

we need to change the system a bit...
