I have a "job" now at the organic chemistry lab on the 5th floor of the chemistry building... It is pretty much a non-paid research position that can help me to explore the amazing realm of organic chemistry. I am excited at this new change in life. This will motivate me to make better use of my time...
i love it when Prof. Wulff showed me his molecular model of the Vadol molecule...those 6-membered rings can become a catalyst to make something that is potentially useful to the human population... it can become a anticancer drug...but we need to figure out how to mass produce these molecules without wasting the limited resources that we have. ha. intriguing... i am going back to the lab to set up the time and getting my sets of equipments after orgo...
gotta go now... have a nice day.
btw...did you know that you can have enantiomers due to steric/rotational hindrance of those bulky substituents? ;-). That's something I learned today.
