I didn't get out of lab until 7:05PM on Friday... Keith showed me crystallization in progress. The whitish translucent crystal starts from a point and slowly radiates outward slowly until it meets the other crystals that are doing the same thing. They meet and stop... 5 seconds later, the whole entire round bottom flask is covered by the crystals. It would look really cool under the microscope with the polarizer on. You would be able to see the rainbow effects on the crystals depending how light refracts and reflects.
i had to rush back to my room and check to make sure that csc is going ok... sigh. the e-mail was sent out with a fairly big error, and my name was signed on the bottom of the e-mail without my permission... that drove me a little mad because I didn't send out the e-mail. he shouldn't have done that, but i let it go quickly and resent another one to apologize for the error in the e-mail. i had no time to worry about that. i was running late to ccf...
i walked to the IV house while talked to my mom on the phone since I didn't call her the night before... i skipped meal, too. it is bad, but i wanted to go to ccf and see everyone since i didn't go last week due to my studying schedule. I drank water as a way to get rid of my thirst and as a way to fill my stomach for the time being... i didn't go for the after activity because i had to get raffle tickets with another e-board at meijers... there, i had 4 pieces of chocolate chips cookies....my dinner on friday

sat. morning, called dad... it is so good to talk to him. he always sounds happy when i call him, and i feel like i have brighten his day or his evening by giving him a call... the most exciting part of the conversation occurred when i was telling him about my microbiology exam and how i don't have to take the final.
he threw out this question, "do you know why microbiology is important in medicine?"
"hmmm..." I thought for a while, "oh oh oh, i know, because you can figure out what the bug is afraid of since different medicine is specific for a specific part of the bug, and you can kill it effectively." "
"yep," he continued, "the difference between the gram - and the gram + bacteria......(continuing)"
"(gasp) you remember the gram - and the gram +!!!!!" i was surprised.... he learned the same thing as i did, and he remembered it from 30 years ago (or maybe more)! wow.... do you know how exciting that feels? it feels as if he's in the same plane as me... we are on the same level, the same boat... it feels as if I've known him forever and i will know him for the rest of my life (of course, duh, he's my dad), but there is a common ground.

Murder Mystery was fun overall, except it was very confusing...and full of mistrust. i think that prevented us from even reach our group goal.
I had this huge headache after the game though... it was really bad that i had to cancel my plan of watching "Big Fish" by myself... I could hardly walk straight with this heavy pounding head... i wanted to let it explode... my evening...i read the orgo research paper that cory gave me and did my chinese report while listening to bach's french suite CD 1.
anyways...
i am going to study hard today...
