i have the worst day of the week today... i can tell you it is the worst right now because i don't think tomorrow is going to be as bad as today (or hopefully not). so... i pretty much went to the lab for 5 hours today (2.5 in the afternoon, and 2.5 at night) for nothing. Nothing came out right. Nothing was done right. Everything just went wrong... oil bath was not heating up, and after 30 minutes of trying to figure out why it didn't work out, it turned out that the tub was broken. then, tried to set up the distilling apparatus, but i don't have anything, so i had to ask people around for equipments to start my thing... another 30 minutes went by... then the mercury manometer was not working because it got stuck in there... gotta try to fix that. then, tonight, i had to miss ccf because i gotta finish the distillation... we had a minor explosion because of my mistake (yes yes...i can't believe that i didn't close it up...). finally, i set up the distillation thing and started the distillation...but...i think i overboiled it because i made another stupid error, which make the whole entire process pointless. So, i figured out the problem and restarted the distillation...this time...the vacuum pump doesn't want to agree with me... so i just give up totally... wasted a bunch of time... i feel like i am a loser today*

* first time calling myself a loser in my life...
