I feel very confident today in my pink sweater that mom bought for me.

talked to some people at the nursing home today... i love the mellowness of these old people. one of them always talks about jesus. the faith that she has in god really touched me, although i personally really don't think i am ready for religion yet. she's such a content and peaceful person. i hope that i will be a very content and peaceful person when i get older. then, she just prayed many many times before she let me go...

another guy was telling me that i lost weight. lol. funny dude. he told me that i am a very attractive person, which reminded him of his daughter in law who is philipino. then, we talked about school, as usual.

i helped another lady getting some things during the auction. you know, when you work with these people, you see how strong human beings can be... she is completely deaf. i had to write things down and use hand signals to show her what was going on. i love her personality. she is pretty optimistic. i marveled how she could just predict what i was saying with such accuracy even though she could not hear me. she seemed to enjoy the auction very much...hehe. :).

then, i talked to the candy lady. she always treated me with candies when i dropped by to say hello. she's in her early 80s, yet she is just as bubbly as a child can be. she loves her 6 children and their children. we were talking about how fun kids can be. she asked if i would have kids later when i get older, and i told her that i really don't know. i can't imagine myself having kids of my own... i would probably be too scared to have children, too scared of the responsibility that follows. she's an amazing woman. i don't know how she and many other women like her raised so many kids with grace and love.

alright. i just fell asleep. :-p. time to stop blogging and take a nap!
