I wore a skirt yesterday!!! :). it made me bouncy all day long. white top, white hat, white skirt, with my newspaper patterned blue birk sandals... i felt very pretty and cute. it's great to be a girl in this sense. something quite funny happened right before mmg 409.
maansi: you look cute today
pei: hey maansi, ooh, i have to give you the money for UNICEF, $5.00, right? (totally ignored the comment...totally me)
sam: hey pei
pei: ooh hey! (got distracted by sam's younger sister, and staring at both of them trying to find the family resemblance on their faces...)
maansi: pei, did you hear me?
pei: what?
maansi: i said that you look cute today
pei: oh, i know. :-D
maansi, mitalee: :-O. geez....
and then, i got to walk around the campus with my friends charlie and xin... and and...i got to listen to the railroad track when the train was coming and leaving for the FIRST TIME in my life! what an experience! i was a bit dumb in the sense that i didn't really recognize the sound the track was making. hehe. it's alright. i learned something new yesterday.
and then, i got to see diane! even though i was never really close to her when i was a freshman, it was just very nice to see another familiar face around me. sometimes, i wish i was more open when i was a freshman, but i was too shy. i wouldn't say that i am much less shy now, but i think i have opened myself up a little bit more. you may say that i've grown and matured. :-p.
and another first time thing happened yesterday. lol. i watched the girl's basketball game for the first time in my entire life! it was a very disappointing game, and it made me wonder how MSU even made it that far. was it purely luck? it's kind of sad that we even made it that far. i thought we were really good. then of course, pei ate a ton of dumplings and filled her elastic stomach up. hehe. i can really eat a lot when i am hungry, and i even had dinner! :-D. the satisfying feeling... brain was fed with lots of glucose too... glucose is good for brain cells.
alright. pei has to go now. meeting. then...library
