the MCAT is officially over for me. it started out pretty rough, since i panicked during the physical science section. As time went by, i regained my calmness and finished verbal, writing, and biological science strong (at least that's how i feel). I probably did pretty bad on the physical science section... what is done is done. that's what dad says. we run a marathon in our lives; sometimes we run faster than others, but other times we run slower than others. it doesn't really matter how long it takes us to complete the marathon, because the most important thing is to finish it. it doesn't really matter. i know what i want to do in my life, and i will get to it eventually no matter how long it takes me.
we watched the RING TWO last night after my exam. i didn't really get scared that much, except one time when mitalee initiated the screaming. i just grabbed the nearest thing to me (on top of my hoodie and kigo), in that case, charlie's arm, and screamed. apparently, we screamed too loud, and some people complained about us. (sorry...but hello? this is a scary movie after all, right?) it's alright, although that kind of ruined my mood for the scary movie, and made me feel like a child who was ashamed of what she did after being scolded by an adult.
then, we went to IHOP. I never knew that IHOP stands for international house of pancakes... i always wondered why the sign on the building says international house of pancakes while the road sign says IHOP. Now, i know. if you were there with me, then you would see how "drunk" i was even without the consumption of alcoholic beverages... seriously, i walked funny and laughed incessantly at the stupidest things. mitalee and i had the french pancakes. it was good for a late night snack.
i didn't do what i planned to do last night, which was to have a party at Mandy's... i was going to get some alcohol drinks (the fruity one or wine) and celebrate my delayed 21st birthday. but, we were all too tired after the movie and after IHOP... it wouldn't be a very bright idea to drink, especially since i was already acting funny due to the brain exhaustion.
so...i went to bed after talking to mom for 20 min. at the end of the phone conversation, all i was saying to her was, "ok" or "yes"...words w/ one syllable. i could barely spit out any word from my mouth, because i was so tired.
i had a very good night of sleep... it was a very peaceful night, and i woke up relieved... it was a WONDERFUL feeling. then, i called dad...and talked to him for 30 min...
pei is going to have FUN and be HAPPY for the rest of the year until DECEMBER... she is at least going to try to do that, to the best of her ability, w/o letting the fun interferes w/ her school work. she is going to read books on golf techniques so she knows the basics in order to play golf w/ her dad in the summer! YES...dad is actually going to bring me w/ him to play golf. what a surprise. :). and he asks pei to swim w/ him! :) man, i love my dad. he's the BEST of the BEST. i'd do anything w/ him and for him. too bad i am only going to be there for a little while. then, she'll spend time w/ her friends, play hard, and study hard as well. :) she's starting her life again! muwahahahaha.....and she's going to start rollerblading on campus despite the fact that she sucks at it. it's ok. people can laugh. she's up to anything right now.
i am so happy that the MCAT is over...
does anybody have a good recommendation for a summer reading? (to the few people who actually read my blog)
