"Dreams"

Hold fast to dreams/ For if dreams die/ Life is a broken-winged bird/ That cannot fly.// Hold fast to dreams/ For when dreams go/ Life is a barren field/ Frozen with snow. Langston Hughes

PHEW....i did not break yee's CD drive...thank god. that was scary...

Work Diary:

1. today at work, we were talking about skin. kimi (haha, i love her) was showing us how her upper eyelid skin has lost its elasticity. so she pinched the skin on her upper eyelid and let it go... the fold of the skin stayed there for a few second and slowly it goes back to where it belongs, while we young girls (kristin, christine, and myself) were doing the same thing, but our skin just bounced back to its origin position as soon as we let go of the skin. haha.

2. as the people start to go home at around 6pm, the store got a lot quieter. i was playing with the white small plastic shopping bag... i open up the bag and fold it back in a slight different way, so that now the bag resembles the shape of a tropical fish (since i saw "finding nemo"...) so, christine and i decided to make a little art work out of it with our lovely makeup. there, christine outlined the eyes with black marker, but the shape of the eyes look like those ancient Egyptian eyes... I laughed (not to be mean). We decided to call it the "Egyptian fish." then, Gosha was telling us to draw the scales in so it would look more like a fish... so we did, and christine decided to give it a smily face. But, wait, the project was not done yet. there must be some COLOR on the fish! The "grape" MAC eyeliner filled in the white part of Egyptian fish's eye and the pinkish MAC lipliners filled in the scales of the fish. Christine also decided to make the fins full of scales too...so our Egyptian fish is REALLY unique. Of course, the smile can't happen without bright red lips! so...we used the Estee Lauder red highly glossy nail polish to make a full, plump lip effects. TA DA! Our unique Egyptian fish is done with something to say to our lovely manager and assistant manager who were not there today. Out from the Egyptian fish's breathing bubbles, there goes the sacred words, "Good Morning, Suzanna and Joyce!" and the fish and her bubbles are placed on their table. =) what a fun project!

seriously...i really think i am playing too much at work. :-p. By the way, if you want to see our beauty fish, just let me know, and a picture of her will be sent to you. Ha.

Goodnight all. =)
