Some highlights of the weekend

Friday:
got the pottery back from FireUp. they turned out better than expected. i love the frame! it tells me much about the painter's personality, simple and down-to-earth... and most importantly, he painted it with his heart, despite some frustration at the time when he painted it.

Saturday:
barely got any sleep, got out of bed at 4ish and took charlie to the airport for the interview. poor guy, he was so nervous. i didn't really know what to do except trying to give him some reassurance. i think he's going to do well. finger crossed for him.

i climbed into a dryer in the cherry lane apartment laundrymat... haha. that was great. too bad i didn't have my camera with me. i did manage to have mitalee and sann take pictures of me using my camera phone. i laughed so hard that i was rolling inside the dryer. it made me feel like a hamster. haha.

then i had a chat w/ jeff after DPPS and the nap... nothing remarkable afterward.

Sunday:
nothing remarkable, except i finally got a chance to vacuum my hairy room!

Today:
went to Olin to get my hands checked. they think i have contact dermatitis, which is what i thought too. i am starting to develop latex allergy... i got a referral to an allergist so he can help me figuring out what kind of food or thing(s) i am allergic to. i am tired of waking up in the middle of the night finding myself scratching my neck and back and finding hives on my body... i saw my genetics TA (Choe) from freshman year, and she actually recognized me!!! what a surprise! i was really surprised that she remembered me and told me that she was really happy to know that i was on "who's who's list" last semester. (I didn't even know there is such a list!).

went to CVS...got some cold medicine...and i really had the urge to get something else too, but i think i am just going to wait for a little bit longer...finger crossed that my cold will go away soon before interview day comes...

hopefully the worst scenario will not happen...
